Complaint!
This performance is the culmination of a series of workshops around complaints within the cultural field.
Drawing from the writing of Sarah Ahmed, these workshops and this upcoming performance are an attempt to think collectively through, about and with the experience of complaint, and to counter a history that has become routine; in which those who complain have been dismissed and rendered uncredible, unable to bear witness to their own experiences.
Complaint is a way to identify
and challenge abuses of power.
